The lovely fellow fashion blogger Coco Butter has been selected as a fellow trend blogger and thought I would feature her on this blog Top Style Advice. Coco Butter decided to talk about jumpsuits, so before going into what Samantha has to say! I had a look at some jumpsuits on line to select a few of my favourites and of course share them with you.
From right to Left: 1) Blue Jumpsuit River Island £17, 2) Grey Floral Print House of Fraser £10 3) Burgundy Tile USC £21 4) Orange paisley print River Island £60
So, this is what Samantha had to say:
Move over maxi dresses, there’s a new favourite in town and the lovely weather is not over just yet. We had some glorious sun shine over the weekend!
Whether they’re strapless, simple straps or have sleeves, it seems everyone is loving jumpsuits at the moment. I think it’s the flexibility that makes them so popular. Perfect for work on a sunny day, days out, nights out and drinks at a bar, there really isn't an occasion where it’s inappropriate to wear one.
Not only are they on-trend, they’re also really flattering, meaning pretty much everyone can pull them off. Not to be underestimated, the comfort factor is also important. No more tugging down shot hemlines or hiking up low cut tops, they feel super secure – an easy-to-wear option.
No longer just for the super tall, the petite versions can even be worn by really short people (like me!). They’re super slimming, making your body look long and lithe and, even though you’re pretty much completely covered up, there is an inexplicable level of sexiness that’s present when you put one on.
Picture 1 – I wore this floral cutie from Next to my surprise hen party meal last weekend, the delicateness of the top really balances out the trousers.
Picture 2 – I adore this print! I think this jumpsuit would be perfect for a going away outfit teamed with an oversize bag, or worn with a slimline black blazer for a work meeting.
Picture 3 – The wardrobe staple. The black jumpsuit is a must. Great for day or night, it can be dressed up or dressed down as appropriate. Keep it simple and wear with tan wedges and gold jewellery for a gorgeous summer look.
In fact, the only thing I dislike about a jumpsuit is the bathroom situation (I’m sure you know what I’m talking about)!
Thank you again Samantha for sharing your views. You can all find Sam over at Coco Butter.
Have you rocked the Jumpsuit trend this summer?
